In 1987, he distinguishing himself in British designer show and spread out his recognition over the world as one of the member of the influential Antwarp SIX.

He was awarded the honorary title of Cultural Ambassador of Flanders in 1999.

映っている両手はデザイナー本人のものである。
彼は洋服デザインの過程でまず始めにコレクションテーマを設定し
それに基づいてインスピレーション源を入念に収集する。
インスピレーション源はアニメのグラフィック、あるアフリカの部族、レイブカルチャー、
音楽など多岐にわたる。
そして、集められたインスピレーション源をミックスさせデザイン画を書き起すし、
そのデザインされた洋服達を彼の空想のファンタジーに落とし込み
コレクションとして発表する。

そんな空想ファンタジー作りにフォーカスされた彼のコレクションは、
何処のカテゴリーにも属さないある種の宗教団体のようで
圧倒的なオリジナリティを放つのである。
